Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, and rework of sub-assemblies and final products in accordance with work instructions and drawings.
• Use hand tools and electronic test equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Accurately complete manufacturing, inspection, and test documentation as required.
• Follow established processes, quality standards, and company policies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate product or process issues where appropriate.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, Cycle Counting, and 5S activities.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance requirements before release.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, and rework of sub-assemblies and finished products. The successful candidate will work from written work instructions, engineering drawings, and schematics to ensure products are assembled to the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, and rework of sub-assemblies and final products in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Use hand tools, electronic test equipment, and production tooling safely and effectively to complete manufacturing tasks.
• Accurately complete manufacturing, inspection, and test documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and **escalate** product or process issues where appropriate.
• Support and participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, Cycle Counting, and 5S activities.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance requirements before release.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Comply with all company health, safety, environmental, export control, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and operational targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational requirements.

Education

Diploma, High School 'O' Level, or equivalent qualification.

Experience

Experience in an engineering, electronics, manufacturing, or related environment is advantageous but not essential.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable working with small hand tools, assembly equipment, and electronic test instruments.
