Job summary

Greatech Group is seeking an Assembly Quality Inspector in Penang, Seberang Perai. The role focuses on in-process inspection to verify assemblies against drawings and work instructions.

You will record NCRs, support QA data collection, and help troubleshoot quality issues with the production team while ensuring ISO, SOP, and safety standards are followed. Hands-on inspection experience is required.

Qualifications

Able to read basic engineering drawings.
Experience in assembly quality inspection (2–6 years).
Able to perform inspection independently and read drawings.

Responsibilities

To perform in-process inspection independently to ensure compliance with specifications.
To verify assembly work against drawings and work instructions.
To record and report non-conformance (NCR).
To support troubleshooting of quality issues with production team.
To ensure inspection activities are completed within timeline.
To maintain proper inspection records and reports.
To support QA Engineer in quality data collection.
To ensure compliance with ISO, SOP, and safety requirements.
Other duties assigned by superior.
Minimum 2–6 years working experience in assembly quality inspection.
Able to read basic engineering drawings. Competent in using measuring tools (caliper, multimeter, torque tools).
Able to perform inspection independently.
