Job summary

Nov Inc is seeking a Quality Inspector in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia to ensure conformance across manufacturing stages. You will verify drawings and contracts, approve or flag non-conforming items, and participate in all inspection activities from in-process to dispatch. English communication and basic MS Office skills are required, with ISO standards knowledge a plus.

The role supports safety and environmental policies and may involve night shifts as needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Good verbal and written English communication.
Experience with quality inspection processes is preferred.
Familiar with ISO9001/ISO14001 standards is a plus.
Able to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Inspect at each manufacturing stage for compliance with NOV/customer specifications.
Have authority to accept, reject, or hold items not meeting drawings or contracts.
Be present for inspections in-house and at supplier facilities.
Perform in-process inspection across manufacturing, assembly, packing, testing, and dispatch.
Create and review material and production certificates and test reports.
Verify setup and fit-up of operations.
Coordinate with all departments to achieve objectives.
Understand calibration records of tools and equipment.
Follow safety and environmental policies and report issues.
