Job summary

UWC Holdings Sdn Bhd in Penang Batu Kawan seeks a Production Supervisor to lead assembly operators and line leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will report to the Assembly Manager, monitor performance metrics, coordinate material flow, and drive continuous improvement, safety, and housekeeping while supporting shift needs and training subordinate staff.

The role emphasizes quality control, TPM participation, and reducing waste; candidates should have 2-3 years supervisory

Qualifications

Minimum certificate on Mechanical Engineer/ Mechatronic Engineering.
2-3 years relater working experience.
At least 2–3 years of supervisory or section head experience leading production operators and line leaders.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support shift or extended working hours when required.

Responsibilities

Report to Assembly Manager or his assigned.
Support data collection for performance Improvement.
Shall monitor of individual section rejection rate and maintain to achieve quality policy.
Work towards reduction of waste material and setup time.
Shall monitor production target for individual section.
Support TPM Program and ensures subordinate work towards reducing down time.
Ensure quality, accuracy and timely readiness of goods produced.
Present weekly individual section yield report to Assembly Manager.
Coordinate daily material flow to ensure smooth operation of UWC's commitment.
