Job summary

Cree is seeking a result-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to partner with cross-functional teams in Ipoh. You will identify and drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for power products.

The role involves setting up equipment, lines, and processes; implementing process changes and modifications to meet new product requirements. You will participate in reviews for design-for-manufacturability, ramp new products, and monitor performance to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality tools and structured problem-solving methods.
Ability to lead improvements and manage changes.

Responsibilities

Identify manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability improvements.
Set up equipment, production lines and processes; implement process changes.
Lead or support deployment of new processes with contract manufacturing and suppliers.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes and procedures.
Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
Plan and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
Monitor process performance and analyze data to prevent excursions.
Identify and implement equipment and process upgrades.
