Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking an Engineer Unit Process Engineering to develop and sustain robust manufacturing processes and drive continuous yield, quality, and process improvements.

You will lead corrective actions (FAR, MRB, PDP, SCAR) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality enhancements and cost reductions, while fostering a high-performance work culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technology field.
  • 1-2 years experience in molding/EOL or semiconductor assembly environments.
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis and problem solving.
  • Issue anticipation and rapid resolution with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping or FTA methods.
  • Ability to communicate across different levels of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain robust manufacturing processes to meet KPI.
  • Drive yield and quality improvements and cost reduction activities.
  • Lead 8D/ MRB/ PDP/ SCAR closures and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements.
