Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our assembly team in Malaysia. The role focuses on meeting machine assembly delivery deadlines and ensuring quality standards while providing hands-on technical support to production technicians.

You will assist engineers in evaluating cost-effective parts, read and apply module work instructions, and drive productivity through disciplined scheduling.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years experience in mechanical assembly (machine/module wiring).
• Ability to read and understand module work instructions (WI).
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Meet machine assembly delivery deadlines and maintain quality performance.
• Assist Engineer to evaluate and qualify cost-effective machine parts.
• Provide technical support and solutions to production technicians.
• Complete assembly work or projects according to schedule.
• Achieve productivity targets and meet delivery deadlines.
• Complete job assignments beyond normal hours when required.
