Qualifikationen

• MD or equivalent from a recognised university
• Valid medical registration and licensure to practise in Malaysia
• Completion of basic medical internship programme or equivalent postgraduate training
• Strong knowledge of general medical principles, pharmacology and clinical diagnosis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build patient rapport
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of medical documentation
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
• Professional conduct and adherence to medical ethics and standards of practice
• Fluency in Malay and English; additional local language skills advantageous

Aufgaben

• Conduct patient consultations, take histories and perform physical examinations
• Diagnose common acute and chronic conditions in general practice
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans per guidelines
• Provide emergency medical care and manage acute conditions
• Assist senior doctors in diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
• Refer patients to specialist services when appropriate
• Participate in clinical teaching and learning activities
• Support public health initiatives and health promotion in the community
