Job summary

Businesslist is hiring an Assistant QC Manager in Johor on a 2-year contract. You will lead the QC team, ensure thorough receiving inspections, and oversee daily testing activities for beams, cylinders, and related concrete products.

The role also requires maintaining quality systems, coordinating audits, and contributing to R&D for new concrete mix designs, while ensuring certifications such as CIDB, SPAN, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 17025 stay current.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant QC management experience.
• Experience with concrete testing processes.
• Familiar with CIDB, SPAN, and ISO quality systems.
• Ability to lead a team and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving inspections and ensure accuracy.

Position: Assistant QC Manager (2 years contract)
Salary: RM5500 - 6500

Job Descriptions

• Ensure receiving inspections are carried out thoroughly and accurately
• Lead subordinates in daily testing activities (beam, cylinder, and flexural beam testing)
• Supervise and guide the QC team in daily tasks
• Ensure all quality system certifications (CIDB, SPAN, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, jacking pipe certificate)
• are valid and renewed on time
• Check and review all quality assurance reports
• Oversee routine sleeper product testing according to schedule
• Attend to yearly audits related to the quality management system (QMS)
• Investigate and analyze root causes of non-conformities, especially concrete-related issues
• Plan and lead trial mixes for new projects
• Conduct R&D for new concrete mix designs
• Monitor and control inspection equipment
• Perform other tasks assigned by superiors and management
