Job summary

Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical support experience with trading or financial services applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in implementing and managing AS/400 systems.
- Advanced knowledge of DB2/400, complex SQL, and data mapping for financial transactions.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, custody, clearing, and post-trade settlement cycles.
- Experience with high-availability tools, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards and integration protocols like MQ.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 support for production incidents across multiple global sites.
- Design and maintain software modules using RPG (III, IV, Free Form) and CL.
- Perform OS upgrades, manage LPAR configurations, and handle patch management.
- Lead design and development of post-trade applications for trade matching, settlement, and payment processing.
- Integrate legacy AS/400 applications with modern platforms via APIs, web services, or middleware like IBM App Connect Enterprise or MQ.
- Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements for data integrity, security, and disaster recovery.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, and post-deployment verification of enhancements.
