Electronic Arts is seeking an exceptional Art Director to redefine the visual identity of our game and elevate the user interface. You will audit the current design, rebuild a bold visual language, and guide motion and UI direction across a global audience.

You will collaborate with Heads of Design and product directors, shaping concept art, 2D/3D harmony, and in‑engine fidelity to deliver premium, AAA-standard interfaces and creator tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional artistic leadership experience shaping the visual interface identity of successful commercial games or creator software.
• A standout portfolio demonstrating modern typography, iconography, color mastery, and motion design in games.
• Proven track record of conceptualizing and executing a distinct visual style from scratch or leading a major overhaul.
• Deep understanding of global gaming trends and premium aesthetics.
• Mastery of modern design and motion tools (Figma, Adobe CC, After Effects) and familiarity with real‑time engines (Unreal/ Unity).
• Passionate gamer with a critical eye for UI art quality and a willingness to push boundaries in AI/UGC spaces.

Responsibilities

• Audit and overhaul the game interface aesthetic to elevate visual quality.
• Author a master visual style guide including color theory, typography, iconography, HUD art direction.
• Define motion standards for transitions, interaction feedback, celebrations, and micro-animations.
• Create high-fidelity concept art, mockups, and interactive prototypes to set quality benchmarks.
• Harmonize 2D UI with 3D game environments, lighting, and character art.
• Collaborate with technical artists and engineers to realize the vision in‑engine with pixel-perfect fidelity.
