Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the performance and operations of stores in the assigned area. You will lead store teams, drive sales growth, ensure excellent customer experiences, and uphold company standards across locations.

You’ll analyze market trends, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with SOPs while coordinating with senior leadership. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and travel within the area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in an Area Manager, District Manager, or similar multi-store management role.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Business Development: develop and implement plans to hit sales, profitability, and market share targets.
• Analyze market trends, competition and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
• Set clear sales goals for each location and ensure achievement.
• Operational Excellence: oversee daily operations, ensure SOPs and merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory, stock management and loss prevention strategies.
• Manage budgets and expenses; supervise new store openings/closures.
• Adhere to retail legislation and provide procedural improvements.
• Team Leadership & People Management: lead, motivate and develop store teams; oversee recruitment and training.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Maintain clear communication between locations and senior management.
• Foster a high-performing culture with succession planning.
• Customer Experience: ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience across stores.
• Handle escalated customer issues professionally.
• Reporting & Analysis: analyze sales data and KPI trends; prepare area performance reports.
