Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced interior fit-out construction manager to lead refurbishment of digital manufacturing facilities, including server rooms, cleanrooms, offices and equipment areas in Malaysia and for overseas assignments.

You will review drawings, coordinate methods, ensure compliance with anti-static flooring, dust control, fire protection and cleanroom standards, and oversee subcontractors and material inspections to guarantee quality and timely handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Decoration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years in interior fit-out construction management for industrial plants, cleanrooms, or data centres.
• Familiar with fire protection, anti-static, dust control, and cleanroom standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee interior fit-out of server rooms, cleanrooms, offices, and equipment areas.
• Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings.
• Coordinate methods, sequences, and quality for walls, ceilings, floors, and finishes.
• Ensure compliance with anti-static flooring, dust control, fire stopping, insulation, and cleanrooms.
• Manage subcontractors and material inspections to prevent defects.
• Interface with ELV, fire, and electrical teams to complete embedded works.
• Maintain documentation, inspections, and handover readiness.

Job Description (JD)

• Responsible for the overall management of interior fit-out works for digital manufacturing facilities, covering the full construction process of server rooms, cleanrooms, office areas, equipment rooms, and common areas.
• Review interior fit-out construction drawings, detail drawings, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate construction methods and quality standards for partition walls, ceilings, flooring, waterproofing, fire protection, doors and windows, façade works, and other fit-out disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with digital manufacturing facility requirements, including anti-static flooring, dust control, firestopping, sound insulation, thermal insulation, cleanroom sealing, and corrosion protection.
• Manage interior fit-out subcontractors and material inspections, ensuring material quality, mock‑up approval, work sequence coordination, finished product protection, and prevention of rework and quality defects.
• Coordinate with intelligent building systems, ELV, fire protection, and electrical teams to complete embedded works, wall and ceiling openings, finishing, concealed piping, and firestopping during interface construction.
• Conduct quality inspections, sectional acceptance, issue rectification, maintain fit-out documentation and inspection records, and support overall project completion and handover.

Job Requirements (JR)

• Bachelor's degree or above in Architectural Decoration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out construction management for industrial plants, cleanrooms, or data centres.
• Familiar with fire protection, anti-static, dust control, and cleanroom construction standards. Experience in high‑end modular interior fit-out is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Experience with BIM and rendering optimisation is preferred.
• Basic English communication skills for technical discussions and documentation.
• Willing to work hard and accommodate long‑term overseas site assignments, with strong attention to detail. Overseas project experience is an added advantage.
