Job summary

LIENDAK in Malaysia is seeking an Architectural Draftsman to prepare CAD/technical drawings for coordination, submission, and construction across all trades. You will develop drawings per project requirements, and update them as needed while ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

You will coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely production-ready drawings and maintain accurate project drawing records, while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office for drawing preparation.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in architecture drawing.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
• Discipline, creativity and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Architectural CAD/Technical Drawings for coordination and construction.
• Develop drawings according to project requirements and milestones.
• Produce accurate drawings from instructions, sketches, notes and calculations.
• Update, amend and manage drawings based on analysis and changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with specifications (UBBL/Authorities Checklist) and standards.
• Prioritise workload to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Submit proper drawing listings for each project for tracking.
• Coordinate with supervisor and project planning for details in drawings.

Job description

• Preparation of Architectural CAD / Technical Drawing for coordination, submission and construction all trades in a competent manner.
• Responsible of all drawings development requirement by project basis.
• Prepare architecture drawings accurately from instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works.
• Maintains, updates and makes amendments to drawings as based on the analysis and interpretation of drawings changes.
• Ensure the drawings comply with specifications (UBBL/Authorities Checklist) and project standards with materials are denoted and accountable in drawings preparation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and accurately in a timely manner through workload prioritisation
• Ensure the proper architectural drawings submission listing for each individual project for tracking
• Consults with key personnel in the project planning necessary details in the preparation of drawings.
• Coordinate and collaborates with supervisor in ensuring drawings to production and compliance to specification and standard.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office
• At least 2 years of working experience is required for this position
• Self motivated and resourceful
• Good discipline and attitude, creative, able to work and understand tight deadline with good skill of rendering
• Ensure smooth implementation of project at the same time, and to handle pressure and met tight deadlines.
