Job summary

Jora Malaysia is recruiting a Coordinator / Supervisor - Architecture to oversee high-rise building construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist the PIC to coordinate planning, monitoring, and control, and supervise site activities on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Building Construction with hands-on site supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building Construction or its equivalent.
• 5 years of working experience with hands-on site supervision work in high-rise commercial building and mixed development construction industry.
• Essential knowledge and experience in ISO and QLASSIC implementation.
• Able to lead and supervise site personnel.
• Able to coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors independently.
• Good working attitude and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PIC to oversee project planning, monitoring and control.
• Carry out monthly, weekly and daily work programs.
• Ensure checking, resolving, and clarifying inconsistencies in drawings well before work is carried out.
• Attend all architecture, technical or sub-contractors meetings.
• Good liaison with consultants, sub-contractors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workers involved in the project.
• Coordinate with the construction team on the architectural construction and detail drawings
• Supervise construction works at the project site in order to meet the requirements in cost, quality and time.
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.
