Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a capable Architectural Drafter to prepare drawings and assist the Architect with drafting and updates. You will handle take-offs and quantity calculations for the QS department's BQ preparation, and develop detailed construction drawings based on the Architect's requirements.

You will revise drawings per design changes, ensure accuracy and coordination with consultants and site staff, and maintain proper records of submissions and revisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience in architectural drafting or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and producing accurate drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes and drafting standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and details.
• Assist the Architect in drafting and updating drawings.
• Prepare material take-off and quantity calculations from drawings for QS department's BQ preparation.
• Prepare detailed construction and submission drawings per Architect's requirements.

• Maintain filing and records of drawings, revisions and submissions.
• Perform other drafting-related duties as assigned by Head of Department.

Requirements

• Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Skillful in AutoCAD drawings
