Arup Jururunding Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled Architect to join our team. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio, providing hands-on design, technical and documentation support while developing architectural expertise in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include concept design, detailed drawings, urban design concepts, and high‑quality project documentation, with oversight of junior staff and participation in external meetings to support project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture.
• Membership in professional institutions or progress toward accreditation is desirable.
• 3–5 years’ experience at leading design practices with a focus on design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in BIM and Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office tools; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD tools (Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp).

Aufgaben

• Prepare concept designs and detailed architectural drawings at all scales and project stages.
• Develop urban design concepts, drawings, diagrams, and presentation materials across a range of projects.

Arup is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect to join our Malaysia team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects, providing hands‑on design, technical, and documentation support while further developing your architectural expertise in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The Opportunity

Prepare concept designs, detailed architectural drawings at all scales and project stages, and produce space proofing diagrams, architectural reports, and visualizations.

Develop urban design and planning concepts, including drawings, diagrams, reports, and presentation materials across a range of projects.

Support team leaders, architects, and planners in the preparation of high-quality project documentation, presentations, and detailed drawings in line with Arup’s standards.

Manage assigned project components with minimal supervision, including planning and overseeing the work of junior staff to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Represent the team at external meetings, author non-standard correspondence and reports, contribute to internal initiatives, and provide guidance, training, and feedback to support team development.

Is this role right for you?

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture, or a related discipline.

Membership of relevant professional institutions or progress toward professional accreditation is desirable.

At least with 3-5 years’ experience at leading design practices with a strong career focus on design and project delivery

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Capability in Rhino, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.

Familiarity or exposure to planning and development contexts within Southeast Asia considered advantageous.

Proficient in BIM and Autodesk Revit and Microsoft office tools
