Job summary

KRD Design & Manufacturing SDN BHD in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking an Architectural Draftsman to translate architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and documentation for construction and manufacturing workflows.

You will create detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop, ensure compliance with building codes, coordinate with managers and clients, and maintain organized records for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or similar programs.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of architectural drawing standards and building codes.
• Strong communication skills to work with managers and clients.
• Experience with both commercial and residential projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of Malaysia’s local building regulations is beneficial.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft detailed architectural drawings using CAD software.
• Convert sketches into accurate scaled drawings for construction.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes, standards and specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from managers and clients.
• Maintain project records and filing systems for design documents.
• Prepare presentation drawings and visualisations for meetings.
