Job summary

LSA Architects Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a BIM Coordinator to prepare 2D and 3D drawings, schedules, and documentation across all design phases, from Concept to Construction.

You will coordinate and check architectural drawings with consultants, liaise with authorities, manage planning submissions, and support project timelines, budgets, and resources. Proficiency in Vectorworks/AutoCAD/REVIT is required, with strong coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating BIM drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to liaise with consultants, authorities, and clients.
• Proficiency in major design software for 2D/3D modelling and detailing.

Responsibilities

• To prepare 2D and 3D drawings, schedules, details and documentation across Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender and Construction phases
• To coordinate, develop and check architectural and other consultants’ drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• To liaise with relevant local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and by-laws
• Manage planning submissions, buildings regulations, and statutory approvals
• Coordinate and liase with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, landscape, etc.)
• Attend client, consultant and site meetings
• Support administration and respond to construction queries
• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
• To study options and alternatives for architectural design solutions - by hand and on Vectorworks/AutoCAD/REVIT
• To manage building / project contract e.g. preparing minutes of meetings, Architect’s Instructions, interim certificates, stage certifications etc
• To provide general assistance in the office
• Carry out any other duties related to architectural work as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.
