Wei Kwang Electrical & Air-Cond Engineering Works in Johor Bahru seeks an Accounts/Finance professional to manage daily collections, invoicing, and AR aging. You will prepare certified invoices, monitor overdue payments, and maintain project files with up-to-date documentation.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with 1–3 years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCount is required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCount Software.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of daily collections and verify payment records in AutoCount.
• Maintain updated customer files with detailed contact and account information.
• Prepare certified claim invoices and follow up on timely payments.
• Assist with monthly sales checking and filing systems.
• Track and update progressive payments, claims, retention and project statements; maintain project files with up-to-date documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts via calls, emails, and letters; negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Support legal actions for delinquent accounts (e.g., reminder letters, CTOS updates).
• Update AR aging report and escalate critical issues to management.
• Manage e-invoicing by checking sales information and maintaining tax entity records.
