Job summary

CADVision Systems Penang Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Engineer - Manufacturing Solutions to help manufacturers optimize design-to-manufacturing processes and improve productivity through practical technology solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics or related field, at least 3 years of experience, and strong communication to present technical concepts to customers. Some travel may be needed to visit customers and conduct demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering, manufacturing or application engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of design-to-manufacturing processes and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' engineering and manufacturing challenges and recommend suitable technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop opportunities through technical consultation, proposals and demonstrations.
• Conduct customer visits, workshops and demonstrations to showcase practical solutions and value.
• Support solution evaluation, implementation and customer adoption with the team and partners.
• Build relationships with customers and provide ongoing technical consultation for evolving needs.
• Identify opportunities to apply technology to customer challenges and develop them into successful solutions.
