Job summary

Oval Engineering Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is seeking an Application Executive / Service Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role links our engineering capabilities with customer needs and supports both sales enquiries and on-site service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, 1–2 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged), strong organisation, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Mechatronics or related field

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer technical application & sales enquiries on company products and on-site service support when required.
• Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings when required.
• Handle day-to-day matters and provide efficient support for quotation / proposals and follow up processes.
• Responsible to grow or maintain customer base and conduct customer visits on an assignment basis.
• Ad-hoc duties may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
• Prepare monthly Job Reports to Sales Manager and Principals.

About the role

Oval Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Application Executive / Service Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and represents a strategic position that bridges the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs. This role is critical to driving revenue growth whilst ensuring customers receive solutions that meet their requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer technical application & sales enquiries on company products and on-site service support when required.
• Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings when required.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• 1 – 2 years of working experience. However, Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Powerpoint)
• A team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the organisation
• Must have own car
