Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Tax & Statutory Accounting Manager to lead tax compliance, statutory reporting, and accounting governance across APAC.

This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a complex, multi-country environment and enjoys driving compliance excellence, strengthening controls, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of experience in tax, statutory reporting and accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP across APAC countries.
• Experience managing tax compliance across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end tax compliance, including corporate income tax, indirect taxes (GST/VAT), withholding tax across APAC countries.
• Manage the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings and statutory returns.
• Lead tax provisioning and reporting activities, including deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate and manage tax audits, statutory audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Monitor developments in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts.
• Provide technical tax guidance and support to finance and business stakeholders.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and related documentation requirements.
• Establish and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
