Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Solutions & Sales Engineering leader to drive APAC strategy, mentor a regional team, and oversee the design, development and delivery of complex data center solutions.

You will align with VP Global Sales Engineering, collaborate with product, construction and operations, and ensure high-quality deployments across wholesale data center projects. Requires 15+ years in data center mech/electrical systems; MBA preferred. On-site in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Four-year college engineering degree or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; registered professional engineer.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 15 years in a similar role with data center mech/electrical systems.
• Extensive experience in sales engineering leadership and pre-sales.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to influence sales.
• Budget and financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with VP Global Sales Engineering to execute APAC regional strategy for Solutions & Sales Engineering.
• Lead and mentor a team across APAC countries, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of complex electrical and mechanical data center solutions.
• Drive innovation and stay current with industry trends and technologies.
• Coordinate with Product, Sales, Design, Construction, Operations and Customer Support for seamless deployments.
• Review lease terms to align with customer technical requirements and maintain solution differentiation.
• Ensure effective communication between the Solutions & Sales Engineering team and other departments.
