Job summary

Appnovation Technologies Ltd. seeks a senior HR leader to shape the APAC people strategy across multiple countries. You will partner with senior leadership to design organisations, lead workforce planning and drive regional recruitment, engagement and capability programs.

In this hybrid role, you will manage HRIS data in BambooHR, provide data-driven insights, and influence the talent agenda across HK, Malaysia, Singapore and beyond. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' HR experience across APAC countries, with 3+ years in a senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Proven track record partnering with and influencing senior leaders, including challenging and advising at president or director level.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law in Hong Kong and Malaysia; exposure to Singapore.
• Hands-on recruitment experience, ideally for technical and consulting roles.
• Fluent business-level English and Cantonese, spoken and written.
• Data-driven with HRIS skills (BambooHR and Greenhouse a plus).

Responsibilities

• Trusted adviser to leadership on organisation design, workforce planning, leadership capability and change.
• Regional people plan: translate global strategy into APAC plan focusing on retention, skills and engagement.
• Lead regional performance and talent review cycles; coaching managers on development and succession.
• Use people data (attrition, engagement, headcount, cost) to spot risks and give clear recommendations.
• Be a visible champion of our culture, connecting with employees and celebrating talent.
• APAC recruitment: hands-on hiring across the region in partnership with Regional TA Lead.
• Share local market insights on salary and hiring trends with regional leaders.
• Own APAC employment policies, contracts and handbooks across HK, Malaysia, Singapore; manage contractor/EOR matters.
• Oversee contractor workforce onboarding, renewals, compliance and classification.
• Advise on compensation reviews and market benchmarking for the region.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding to ensure a high-quality employee experience.
• Advise on visa requirements and inbound/outbound transfers.
• Maintain APAC BambooHR data accuracy and regular reporting.
