Job summary

Danaher seeks a Payroll Tax & Compliance Manager to act as the APAC payroll tax authority, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions and supporting tax automation initiatives. You will guide payroll operations, HR and finance, strengthen governance, and drive timely, accurate filings.

The role reports to the Senior Manager of APAC Payroll and requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration and 5–7 years in payroll tax with regional experience; English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar discipline.
• Minimum 5 years payroll tax experience.
• Deep expertise in payroll tax, social security, and statutory payroll compliance.
• Proven ability to lead regional tax initiatives within payroll transformation efforts.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous.
• Experience with regional payroll platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with country and regional payroll tax regulations across the APAC region.
• Lead internal and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee registration and compliance in new jurisdictions.
• Proactively respond to regulatory updates and ensure timely compliance.
• Drive consistency in tax procedures and documentation across countries.
• Track legislative changes and assess impact on payroll tax operations.
• Educate payroll and other business departments on legal changes impacting payroll.
• Manage relationships with payroll tax vendors and third‑party filing agents.
• Monitor service levels, accuracy, and timeliness of filings.
• Collaborate with Payroll operations and IT to enhance tax reporting capabilities.
