Job summary

Delivery Hero, via foodpanda, is seeking a Senior Specialist, APAC Payroll to own Singapore and APAC payroll cycles with regional support. You will collaborate with Finance and People & Culture to ensure compliance, controls, and governance within a growing APAC Shared Services model.

You will drive improvements, mentor junior specialists, and support system implementations and regulatory updates across markets.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of payroll operations experience with strong Singapore payroll expertise.
• Ability to independently manage full payroll cycles.
• Strong understanding of Singapore statutory contributions, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in multi-country or regional payroll environments.
• Exposure to payroll system implementations or process improvement initiatives is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls and audit requirements.
• High ownership mindset with ability to manage payroll in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior payroll team members.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll cycles for Singapore and APAC markets.
• Validate inputs, deductions, and gross-to-net calculations with precision.
• Ensure payroll calendars, cut-offs, and control checkpoints.
• Review outputs for statutory accuracy (CPF, IRAS, SHG, SDL).
• Oversee off-cycle payroll processing and adjustments.
• Escalate as needed and support audits and governance.
