DuNoMo Pty Ltd. is seeking a Payment Operations Manager, APAC for a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will oversee day-to-day payment operations across APAC, coordinating with banks and internal teams to resolve exceptions, ensure timely settlement and robust controls.

Responsibilities include merchant onboarding, risk scoring, acquirer management, real-time monitoring, and incident response. Strong KYB/KYC, AML knowledge and Excel proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 5-8 years of experience in payment operations or related field.
• Experience in an acquirer/PSP/BPSP or Merchant of Record environment across APAC.
• Hands-on KYB/KYC including UBO and sanctions.
• Familiarity with AML regimes and risk assessment.
• Proficient reading settlement files and fixing process gaps.
• Strong communication with banks and clients in a hybrid, multi-time-zone setup.

Aufgaben

• KYB/KYC: Verify clients and beneficial owners, including UBO, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks, and keep records current.
• Onboarding and MID setup: Manage acquirer submission, MID, descriptor, MCC and limits through to first live payment.
• Merchant risk: Score clients before and after boarding, set limits, and recommend whether to decline, restrict or exit.
• Acquirer management: Own day-to-day acquirer relationships
• Banking partners: Maintain accounts and payout instructions, resolve rejections and returns, and handle diligence requests across four markets.
• Transaction monitoring: Monitor authorisation, settlement and payouts in real time, and flag and expediate anomalies or fraud/AML indicators.
• Incident response: Own issues from first alert to resolution, coordinate the parties involved, log root cause, and keep clients updated.
