Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Implementation Manager for Contract Logistics in Malaysia. You will lead APAC customer implementations, coordinating cross-functional teams, systems, and operations from kickoff to go-live.

The role emphasizes program governance, risk management, and ensuring readiness before deployment. The position requires 7–12 years in contract logistics or related fields, expertise with WMS, and PMP/Prince2 or similar certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years experience in Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain or Logistics Operations.
• Proven experience managing warehouse start-ups, customer implementations or large logistics projects.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with WMS implementation, operational readiness and process deployment.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution processes.
• Experience working across multiple countries and cultures within APAC.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead new customer implementation projects across APAC
• Develop and manage implementation timelines, milestones and project plans
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams throughout implementation lifecycles
• Track implementation risks, issues and mitigation plans
• Ensure successful project execution from kick-off through go-live
• Drive operational readiness activities before go-live
• Coordinate facility readiness, staffing requirements and training plans
• Ensure SOPs and work instructions are developed and implemented
• Support operational testing and validation activities
• Coordinate transition from implementation to steady-state operations
• Work closely with Solutions Design, Operations, Systems and Commercial teams
• Coordinate implementation activities with customers and external stakeholders
• Facilitate project review meetings and implementation governance sessions
• Align implementation priorities across multiple projects and countries
• Support WMS implementation and deployment activities
• Coordinate system testing, UAT and operational readiness validation
• Work closely with Systems and IT teams during implementation phases
• Verify processes are operationally executable before go-live
• Ensure implementation activities comply with company operational standards
• Support QESH readiness reviews and compliance assessments
• Monitor project readiness against operational and customer requirements
• Support audit preparation and implementation governance reviews
• Develop implementation standards, templates and best practices
• Establish implementation playbooks and governance frameworks
• Drive lessons learned reviews following project completion
• Support standardization initiatives across APAC
