Job summary

Oliver James in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned IT Procurement Manager for a 12-month contract to drive strategic IT infrastructure sourcing across APAC, including Network, Cloud, Datacentre, and Cybersecurity.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will lead end-to-end projects, develop tiered sourcing strategies, apply a TCO approach, and coordinate with regional IT stakeholders to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of dedicated IT procurement experience across APAC with focus on the Mainland China region.
• Mandarin, Cantonese and English language capabilities.
• Strong exposure to Tech Infrastructure sourcing including SaaS, Cloud, Datacentre, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end strategic procurement projects.
• Develop a tiered sourcing strategy covering large established markets and expanding SEA markets.
• Apply a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach and optimize ongoing support and maintenance.
• Engage with APAC stakeholders to identify needs, risks, and spend data.
• Negotiate contract terms, launch e-Sourcing initiatives, and manage awards.
