Job summary

Alcon Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate for Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance to support statutory audits, tax filings, and financial reporting across APAC, mainly Malaysia and Singapore.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence. The role emphasizes collaboration with Record-to-Report, R2R, and local business units, delivering reliable reporting and process improvements in a

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in External Audit, Statutory Reporting, Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, or related accounting functions.
Exposure to manufacturing operations and APAC statutory reporting requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support statutory audits and tax filings.
Prepare statutory financial accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and tax calculations.
Collaborate with Tax Agents, Global Tax, and FP&A teams on accounting treatments and reporting.
Assist with process improvements and internal controls to enhance compliance.
