Job summary

Edelman is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead a diverse portfolio of programmes across South East Asia and APAC. The role focuses on delivering structured project management with a solutions-oriented, diplomatic approach, bridging markets, and driving consistency in delivery.

You will mentor PMs, champion PM tools and processes (including AI tools), and ensure clear scopes, staffing, and delivery across multiple markets while maintaining financial health and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a digital, creative, communications, advertising, or PR agency environment.
• Deep knowledge of project and change management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with resource management platforms and planning workflows.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of programmes and projects across South East Asia and APAC markets.
• Align business goals with delivery frameworks, partnering with Account and Specialty leads.
• Adapt global PM standards to regional expectations for clarity and cultural fit.
• Mentor junior PMs and foster collaboration, accountability, and trust.
• Oversee financial health in partnership with Account and Finance teams.
• Lead client discussions around plans, performance, and delivery methods.
• Partner with Resource Management to forecast and align talent to program needs.
• Establish effective workflows and delivery practices for integrated teams.
