Job summary

Huawei is seeking a Data Center Facility Solution Architect or Data Center Technical Director for the Asia Pacific region. You will serve as the technical owner through pre-bid to delivery, engaging clients, and designing end-to-end data center facilities with electrical, HVAC, fire, and civil systems.

You will work with subcontractors, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment with standards such as TIA942, BICSI, and IEC61439.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years in data center integration or turnkey solutions.
Familiar with data center bidding, standards (TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS 7671) and project management.
Experience with data centers above 1MW in consulting, design, or PM is valued.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main technical owner during pre-bidding, bidding, and commercial solution implementation phases.
Engage with customers to understand requirements and propose data center solutions.
Present technical data center solutions and negotiate project terms with clients.
Design end-to-end data center facility solutions including electrical, fire, HVAC, and civil works.
Work with subcontractors to clarify SOW and produce shop drawings.
Identify and manage technical risks and perform cost analysis for construction and manpower.
Apply standards (TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS 7671) to guide design and delivery.
Evaluate and select equipment such as generators, VFDs, panels, UPS, transformers, ATS/STS, PDUs, busways, and cables.
