Job summary

Google’s Data Center Engineering team seeks an accomplished electrical engineer to drive scalable electrical systems (HV, MV, LV, renewables) for APAC data center projects from due diligence through construction. You will localize internal standards while collaborating with architects, engineers and vendors to meet project goals.

You will oversee electrical infrastructure design, power supply options, substation arrangements, and critical studies, ensuring safety, reliability and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive scalable electrical systems design (HV, MV, LV) from due diligence through construction for APAC data center projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to resolve program-level electrical issues and integrate new product developments.
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and cost standards through engineering analysis and tests.
• Define system-level data center architecture and update internal design specifications with lessons learned across projects.
• Develop operations and maintenance procedures for major infrastructure upgrades.
