Job summary

Boston Scientific in APAC is seeking a Principal Product Owner to lead vision, roadmap, and delivery of data and metadata architecture that underpins the region's digital ecosystem. You will partner across Commercial Excellence, Data & Analytics, IT, and market stakeholders to enable scalable insights and AI-driven decision support.

You will own master data and metadata governance, define canonical data definitions, and drive architecture that delivers interoperable data flows across platforms,

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Product Ownership or related data leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in MDM, data governance, metadata frameworks, and AI-ready data architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML enablement for data foundations that support analytics and automation.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for senior stakeholders.
• Regional or APAC experience preferred.
• CSPO or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional Asian languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize APAC Master Data and Metadata product backlog and roadmap.
• Translate commercial data strategy into clear user stories and scalable architectural design requirements.
• Deliver scalable data products that integrate into digital workflows.
• Ensure architectural consistency, usability, and interoperability across APAC markets.
• Embed governance, security, privacy, and control mechanisms into system and workflow design.
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, IT, commercial, and finance teams for interoperability.
• Define KPIs and drive adoption, usage monitoring, and continuous improvement of data capabilities across digital platforms.
