Job summary

SmartDev is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead APAC market initiatives and translate AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes for CIOs and CMOs. You will identify enterprise opportunities, build long-term pipelines, and negotiate complex contracts.

You should combine solution selling with a hunter mindset, comfortable discussing data pipelines, model accuracy, and ROI in a fast-growing AI-enabled services environment.

Qualifications

• : Must have 5+ years in B2B solution sales or business development with AI/ML exposure
• : Prove track record closing five-figure to six-figure AI solution deals
• : Able to articulate AI concepts and business impact
• : Experience selling to CTOs, CDOs and business leaders
• : Hunter mentality with cold outreach and negotiation

Responsibilities

• Identify and target high-potential enterprise accounts across APAC (Media, Fintech, Logistics)
• Build a 12-month AI-solution pipeline and lead consultative discovery
• Structure complex contracts (POCs, pilots, managed services) and negotiate terms
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to scope feasibility and effort estimates
• Develop AI-focused sales collateral with Marketing and provide pricing feedback
