Job summary

CoherentPlus International is seeking an mid-level software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Android-based payment terminal applications while contributing to backend services and integrations. You will work across the full payment stack from device to gateway, with a focus on security and compliance.

The role targets someone with 2–3 years of experience who wants to deepen fintech, embedded systems, and full-stack payment development expertise in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software development experience in fintech or related field.
• Experience in embedded systems, payment devices, or full stack development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Flutter.
• Backend development experience with APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux / RTOS and version control tools (Git).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android payment terminal applications.
• Implement contactless and card payment functionalities.
• Develop and integrate backend services/APIs for payment processing.
• Integrate with backend systems and acquiring banks.
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, and backend teams.
• Implement security, encryption, and data protection mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with EMV, Visa, Mastercard, and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production systems.
