Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to turn data into decisions across our multi-country retail footprint. You will own the analytics layer above data pipelines, driving BI, reporting, advanced analytics and self-service enablement for leaders, units and store operations.

This hands-on leadership role defines the analytics agenda, partners with Data Engineering and the Digital Transformation team, and grows an analytics function scalable across MR DIY's international operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a data-related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics/BI with leadership exposure.
• Proficiency with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) and SQL; familiarity with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics roadmap aligned with business objectives and digital transformation.
• Identify high-value analytics opportunities across merchandising, supply chain, store operations, finance and loyalty.
• Translate business questions into structured analytics problems with clear success measures.
• Own BI and reporting ecosystem, define standards for dashboards, metrics, and KPI definitions.
• Oversee development of executive, operational, and self-service dashboards.
• Lead descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics; partner with data science to operationalise models.
• Champion experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis) for evidence-based decisions.
