Job summary

Carsome is seeking an Analytics Engineer who can move seamlessly between building data infrastructure and delivering business insights in Malaysia. This role will help modernize our data warehouse and reporting ecosystem, spanning staging-to-mart data modeling, dashboards, and cross-functional analysis.

• 1–4 years of experience in data analysis or analytics engineering.
• Experience rebuilding or restructuring datasets following a staging-to-mart warehousing approach (dbt or similar tools) is a plus.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines from staging to mart within a modern data warehouse environment.
• Build and maintain dashboards, semantic models, and self-serve reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc and recurring analyses to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and surface actionable recommendations; collaborate with data engineering, product, and data science teams.
