in Ipoh, Perak is seeking a Data Analyst to analyse business and operational data, create dashboards, and provide insights for data‑driven decisions across the organisation. You will gather data from multiple sources, ensure accuracy, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable analyses, with opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Data Analyst/BI/Reporting role.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, IT, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data cleaning, analysis).
• Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for the business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with Python, Power Query, ERP systems, or reporting automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, organising, and analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualisations for management and departments.
• Monitoring KPIs and preparing regular and ad‑hoc analytical reports.
• Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for reporting and analysis.
• Translating business requirements into meaningful data insights with stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, efficiency, and data quality.
• Supporting management with data analysis for planning, forecasting, and decision‑making.
• Assisting with automation and improvement of reporting and data management processes.
