Job description

Drive key business decisions across Southeast Asia by analyzing markets, tracking focused industries, and delivering actionable insights. Collaborate across teams, influence strategies, and contribute to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data of markets, focused industries, competitors, and corporate finance transactions across Southeast Asia.
• Conduct financial due diligence, company profiling, and valuations (DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA, precedent transactions).
• Build dashboards and visualizations (Power BI or Tableau) to track industry and financial performance.
• Prepare investment memorandums, sector review reports, and other strategic documents.
• Track listed and private companies within focused industries (technology, sustainability, consumer, healthcare, etc.).
• Assist in monitoring the performance of KYM’s existing portfolio companies.
• Maintain KYM’s internal opportunity database for M&A targets.
• Provide insights on focused industries to support business decisions and investment committee.
• Undertake additional assignments as needed to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools such as Power BI or Tableau, SQL, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to communicate data-driven insights effectively to non-technical and senior stakeholders.
