Job summary

China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd is seeking an Airline Ground Service Representative to be based at KLIA & PENANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS. You will oversee flight operations, coordinate with ground handling teams, and monitor punctuality while maintaining safety standards.

Fluency in Chinese, English and Bahasa Melayu is required, with strong communication and rapid learning abilities. This on-site role offers exposure to end-to-end airport services.

Responsibilities

• Represent the airline at the airport and oversee the smooth and safe operation of assigned flights.
• Monitor aircraft arrival, turnaround and departure activities and ensure ground handling services are performed per procedures.
• Coordinate with ground handling agents, airport authorities, ramp operations, catering, baggage, cleaning and other service providers.
• Monitor flight punctuality and report delays, safety concerns or emergencies to management and departments.
• Supervise performance of ground handling agents to meet service standards and operational requirements.
• Assist in handling delays, cancellations, disruptions, passenger complaints and other irregular operations.
• Coordinate with parties to resolve issues and minimise disruption to flight operations.
• Conduct operational checks before, during and after flight handling and ensure arrangements are in place.
• Prepare and submit flight operation reports and incident reports accurately and on time.

Job Responsibilities:

Represent the airline at the airport and oversee the smooth and safe operation of assigned flights.

Monitor aircraft arrival, turnaround and departure activities and ensure all ground handling services are performed in accordance with airline and airport procedures.

Coordinate closely with ground handling agents, airport authorities, ramp operations, catering, baggage, cleaning and other relevant service providers.

Monitor flight punctuality and promptly report any delays, operational irregularities, safety concerns or emergencies to the airline management and relevant departments.

Supervise and follow up on the performance of ground handling agents to ensure service standards and operational requirements are met.

Assist in handling flight delays, cancellations, disruptions, passenger complaints and other irregular operational situations.

Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve operational issues efficiently and minimise disruption to flight operations.

Conduct operational checks before, during and after flight handling and ensure necessary arrangements are in place.

Prepare and submit flight operation reports, incident reports and other required documentation accurately and on time.

Proficient in Chinese, English and Bahasa Melayu, with good written and reading skills.
