Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a contract-based logistics professional in Bayan Lepas to manage airfreight import operations. The role emphasizes timely shipment handling, cross-department coordination, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in airfreight, import operations, warehouse operations or logistics is encouraged.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle and respond promptly to airfreight import-related enquiries and follow up on necessary actions.
• Monitor import shipments and ensure related activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor shipment milestones (Z18, Z25 and GOU) to ensure completeness and timeliness.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient import operations.
• Monitor unbilled shipment status for Bough Paper, Sold Paper and Import Customs standalone jobs.
• Perform survey intention claims to airlines when required.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable quality and environmental regulations, standards and best practices.
• Support daily operations by driving productivity, ensuring smooth workflow and improving break bulk operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
