Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Services Representative (MSR) to join our Western Sydney operation in Australia. You will perform aircraft/IFE maintenance, inspections, testing and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, holds AQF Certificate IV in aeroskills or equivalent, and can obtain a red ASIC. Willingness to travel up to 25% and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate IV in aeroskills or trade certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing (CASA/EASA/ FAA A&P).
• Ability to obtain a red ASIC.
• Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, dismantling, inspecting, testing and repairing aircraft parts, engines and electrical systems to restore functional acceptance.
• Inspecting and installing electrical circuits and cabling as needed.
• Troubleshooting and defect rectification using testing equipment.
• Rectifying defects in oxygen systems and other aircraft components per certification.
• Performing routine pre-flight line maintenance checks on engines and frames.
• Maintaining records and documentation of inspections and repairs.
