Qualifications

• Proven experience as an air conditioning technician or in a similar HVAC role.
• Valid air conditioning certification or relevant technical qualifications recognised in Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and standard hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of air conditioning units for various clients.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical elements.
• Install new air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test and recharge refrigerant systems while complying with environmental regulations.

OZAC Engineering and Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Aircond Service Technician to join our growing team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop and utilise your technical expertise in air conditioning systems maintenance, repair, and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of air conditioning units for residential, commercial, and industrial clients
• Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools
• Repair or replace defective components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerant lines, and electrical elements
• Install new air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Test and recharge refrigerant systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
• Conduct system performance checks and efficiency assessments
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work completed
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service requirements, recommendations, and repair costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all service activities
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions to minimise client downtime

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an air conditioning technician or in a similar HVAC role

• Valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation

• Preferred experience in both preventative maintenance and emergency repair services
