Job summary

KateWorthington in Malaysia seeks an experienced AI Solution Manager to drive end-to-end lifecycle of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will shape AI strategy, mentor a talented team, and lead development of AI Agents and LLM-powered applications.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable, production-ready AI systems, overseeing design, deployment, and governance of AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years in AI engineering and software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience as a software engineer with production-grade features.
• Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) knowledge.
• Full SDLC, CI/CD, monitoring and observability in high-load systems.
• Strong Python skills with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Transformers, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with agentic systems and MCP interoperability.
• Experience with RAG/information retrieval and vector stores.
• Web/API integration (Node.js/TypeScript/Python; REST/GraphQL; React/Next.js).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements and align AI solutions with business value.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI engineers and ML engineers.
• Drive innovation and adoption of new AI technologies for clients.
• Design and ship LLM agents and chatbots with web app/API integrations.
• Build and operate RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector stores, and governance.
• Architect end-to-end scalable AI solutions balancing performance and cost.
• Develop PoCs, MVPs, and scalable AI apps, especially generative AI.
• Oversee architecture for deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
