Job summary

Webby Group is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and enterprise solutions in Kuala Lumpur. You will build AI Agents, Copilots, and agentic AI workflows using leading LLM technologies and integrate them with ERP, CRM, and cloud services.

You will contribute to scalable backend services, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality AI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, AI or related field.
• >5 years of software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Experience building apps with REST APIs and modern backend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with one or more LLM providers.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering and LLM app development.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and Agile work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software applications and enterprise solutions.
• Build and optimize AI Agents, Copilots, and AI workflows using modern LLM tech.
• Develop RAG systems integrated with enterprise knowledge bases.
• Integrate LLMs into business apps (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Design scalable backend services and APIs for AI applications.
• Integrate AI with ERP, CRM, HRMS, databases, and cloud services.
• Maintain prompt engineering strategies and model optimization workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Engineers to ship AI products.
• Improve performance, scalability, security, and cost of AI apps.
• Research and adopt emerging AI tech and best practices.
• Write clean, documented code and follow engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and planning.
