Your Role in Our Mission

As AI Native Engineering Lead (Payment Industry), you will own the end-to-end payment journey across FundedNext, FNmarkets, and FNPay. You will architect resilient PSP integrations, optimize payment conversion, and deliver wallet and card products that scale globally. In this role, you will lead engineering squads, embed financial integrity into every transaction, and drive measurable business outcomes across payout automation, settlement accuracy, and FNPay adoption.

How You'll Make an Impact

PSP Integration & Optimization

• Architect and manage integrations with multiple PSPs (Payprocc, Confirmo, BinancePay, PayPal).
• Design intelligent routing logic to optimize success rate, cost, speed, and geographic coverage.
• Drive conversion improvements: tokenization, streamlined checkout, and reduced activation delays.

Payout & Settlement

• Own all payout method integrations (card, bank transfer, crypto).
• Build payout-to-purchase bridges to enable cross-product flywheel effects.
• Design reconciliation engines ensuring every transaction is matched, discrepancies flagged, and audit trails complete.
• Lead ERP integration with Oracle NetSuite for automated reporting and revenue recognition.

Wallet & Card Product

• Deliver FNPay wallet product: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and transaction tracking.
• Architect card issuance systems with lifecycle management and 99%+ success rates.
• Drive adoption metrics: 1,000+ signups, $100K+ withdrawals, 500+ cards issued.
• Implement robust wallet ledgers with real-time balance management and compliance.

Web3 & Crypto Payments

• Own crypto payment infrastructure: blockchain integrations, wallet management, secure flows.
• Evaluate Web3 technologies to improve speed, reduce costs, and expand corridors.
• Ensure compliance with evolving crypto regulations across jurisdictions.

Leadership & Business Outcomes

• Lead multiple engineering squads across Payment, Payout, FNPay, and FNmarkets.
• Own the payment domain roadmap across 20+ projects, prioritizing by impact.
• Deliver measurable outcomes: 30% fewer payout support tickets, resilient payment diversity, and FNPay product-market fit.
• Manage stakeholders across finance, compliance, operations, and CX.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in software engineering, 3+ in technical leadership for fintech/payment systems.
• Expert in PHP/Laravel for backend reliability; strong in Node.js (event-driven) and Next.js (dashboards/checkout).
• Deep PSP integration experience (3–4 providers minimum) and PCI-DSS knowledge.
• Proven track record in payout systems (card, bank, crypto) and reconciliation engines.
• ERP integration experience (Oracle NetSuite preferred).
• Working knowledge of Web3, blockchain networks, and crypto payment infrastructure.
• Experience with wallet/card issuance products and ledger system design.
• Strong database architecture skills (ACID compliance, high-throughput event logging).
• Experience managing multiple engineering teams simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across technical and business functions.
• Background in prop trading, brokerage, or financial services payments highly preferred.
