Job summary

AGOS Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated intern to join its digital team, gaining hands-on experience in automation, AI, and process transformation within the Global Business Services sector. You will work on automation prototypes and analytics using Power BI and Power Automate, helping map workflows and create training materials.

You will contribute to AGOS's innovation pipeline, delivering insights and dashboards that demonstrate automation performance and ROI.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Information Systems, Business Analytics, CS, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Power BI dashboards.
• Familiar with Power Automate using simple flows.
• Strong documentation and writing skills for training materials.
• Solid communication to explain technical steps to non-technical users.

We're looking for a motivated intern to join our digital team and gain hands-on experience in automation, AI, and process transformation within the Global Business Services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn about how organizations are redesigning their processes for the AI era while building practical skills in modern automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Automation R&D & Prototyping
Explore, test, and prototype automation and AI solutions for real business challenges. This means getting hands-on with tools like Power Automate, n8n, and AI-assisted workflow engines - building proof-of-concept flows, stress-testing edge cases, and documenting what works (and what doesn't). You'll contribute directly to AGOS's internal innovation pipeline and help evaluate emerging tools for client applicability.

Process Intelligence & Discovery
Work alongside our consultants to investigate how GBS processes - across finance, HR, procurement, and operations - can be reimagined through automation. You'll map current-state workflows, identify automation opportunity hotspots, and model the potential ROI of different approaches. Your analysis will feed directly into client recommendations and AGOS's methodology toolkit.

Training & Knowledge Capture
As a secondary output of your R&D work, you'll help translate your findings into structured learning materials - documentation, lab guides, and exercises. The goal is to convert what you've discovered in the lab into tools that others can learn from.

Data Visualisation & Insight Development
Build Power BI dashboards and analytical models that make automation performance and process efficiency visible. You'll gather, clean, and structure data from multiple sources - turning raw numbers into insight that helps our team and clients make better decisions faster.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Power BI (building basic dashboards) and Power Automate (creating simple flows); prior coursework or small projects are sufficient.
• Strong process documentation skills, including the ability to map workflows and write clear training or technical materials.
• Good communication skills, especially in explaining technical steps to non-technical users during training or support sessions.
• Comfortable working with data (e.g., Excel, CSVs) and able to perform basic analysis to support dashboard development and automation assessments.
• Interest in automation, AI tools, and process improvement, especially within Shared Services / GBS environments.
• Proactive, willing to learn on the job, and able to support both virtual and on-site training or client sessions when required.
