Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is hiring an AI Engineer to help build a next-generation AI Virtual Companion for Operation Planning & Optimization, powered by LLMs and agentic AI.

You will design prompts, integrate LLM APIs, and collaborate with product, developers, QA and UX to deliver reliable AI systems. This role blends software engineering, data science and ethics in a fast-paced, global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with 2–5 years in software development in AI/ML.
• Strong grasp of LLM fundamentals, tokens, temperature, top-p and context windows.
• Design, optimize, and evaluate prompts to improve AI behavior and responses.
• Proficient in Python and LLM API integration (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Hands-on with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph) for tool calls and reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Model & Prompt Engineering: design, test, and iterate prompts to improve reasoning and user experience.
• Agentic AI Frameworks: build and orchestrate agentic workflows with tool calling, reasoning loops, memory management, and multi-step tasks.

Join us in building a next-generation AI Virtual Companion for Operation Planning & Optimization. Powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI, you'll help create intelligent systems that can reason, retrieve information, and act autonomously.

Role Responsibilities & Job Description:

• Model & Prompt Engineering: Design, test, and iterate prompts that improve reasoning, factuality, and user experience.
• Agentic AI Frameworks: Build, manage and orchestrate agentic workflows involving tool calling, reasoning loops, memory management, skills orchestration, and multi-step task execution.
• AI Safety & Reliability: Implement guardrails, monitoring, and validation mechanisms to ensure AI systems remain safe, reliable, and ethically grounded.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work with Product Owner, Developers, Quality Engineers and UX Designers to deliver the Virtual Companion. Contribute to sprint planning, code reviews and documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, with 2-5 years in software development and relevant experience specifically within the AI/ML development landscape.
• AI/ML Literacy: A strong grasp of LLM fundamentals, including tokens, temperature, top-p, and context windows.
• Prompt Engineering & Evaluation: Design, optimize, and evaluate prompts to improve AI behavior, reasoning, and response quality.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python.
• LLM API Integration: Hands on with Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar
• Agentic AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience working with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph involving tool calling, reasoning loops, memory management, skills orchestration, and multi-step task execution.
